Product video workflow for FocusHold

As a solo developer, I can build the app. But then I also have to market it. Which means somehow I need to make polished product videos too... and I’m not a video editor. I tried using Astra for my FocusHold videos, but I couldn’t get the result I wanted. Then I tried Claude Opus 5.5. And this is the first AI workflow that has actually started to work for me. I gave it: → my real FocusHold UI → 2 motion references → my voiceover → clear feedback after each render The interesting part? I didn’t need to know motion design. I could just explain what felt wrong: “This looks too much like a slideshow.” “The transition needs more movement.” “Keep my real UI unchanged.” “Make this part feel more premium.” Then critique → render → fix → repeat. Each version got closer to what I had in my head. It’s still not perfect. But as a solo developer who isn’t a video editor, being able to work with AI like this is kind of insane.
